We welcome you to our "Korner of Heaven". The hiking, fishing, photo opportunities, and wildlife viewing are simply fantastic. We are open May thru Sept. Contemporary style home in central Hyder. Easily accessible with a large deck on south side of house for enjoying meals and entertaining friends and possibly watch both black and brown bear stroll the Main St. of the village. We hope to cater to people who are wildlife enthusiasts and photographers of wildlife. Sorry, we cannot accept children under 12 as our home is not setup for little ones. Nor do we accept pets. We have many amenities which will make your stay hassle-free and add to your enjoyment. A sample of the facilities for your use are high speed internet access, sat. tv, full access to all areas of property. Following are for fee services: vehicle rental, kitchen use, bar-b-que and access to laundry facilities. We look forward to meeting you and hosting your visit to our "Korner of Heaven". The house is located only three short miles from the world famous Fish Creek Wildlife Observation Site. We enjoy watching the bears and meeting the visitors to our wonderful area. We have lived in Hyder 31years and find something new to appreciate every day. Once you open yourself to Hyder you will definately return! And we will be here to welcome you with open arms. From early July 'til early Sept. we host a "Thursday Night Spaghetti Dinner". This started 12 yrs ago by way of thanking the volunteers and Photographers for their help at Fish Creek. Our guests will enjoy mixing with these folks and perhaps picking up tips from the pro's. |
