| Welcome to the Ghost City Inn Bed and Breakfast, where it is our
goal to provide you with an atmosphere of rest and relaxation here
in the heart of historic Jerome, Arizona. We offer a special blend of
old west meets new west in our cozy Victorian and early American
rooms. All of our rooms have well appointed private bathrooms. A full breakfast is served daily, and
tea, cake and cookies will welcome you when you arrive.
Jerome, founded in the late 1800's and once a booming mining
town, became one of America's largest ghost towns in the 1950's
when the last of the mines was shut down. 541 Main Street,
originally built in 1885 as a boarding house for mine employees,
became the property of a private family and was used as its residence. The building has seen many
uses since that time and in 1994 was converted into a bed and breakfast - the Ghost City Inn. Many
guests have enjoyed visiting the Ghost City Inn since its opening, and we hope you will too.
From the front veranda, you will witness the surrounding splendor of old Jerome, the Verde Valley
nearly 2000 vertical feet below, and the breathtaking views of the terraced red rocks of Sedona. At
night, these magnificent views melt away to be replaced by a lush tapestry of stars that one can only
see when the "big city lights" are far, far away. Then watch the sun rise over the Verde Valley as
you sip a cup of freshly roasted coffee, or simply lounge in your luxurious bed until breakfast is
served.
We cordially invite you to join us for a stay you won't
soon forget in this lovingly restored Southwest Victorian
retreat. Whatever your passion, whether it be exploring
the great outdoors, researching state history, antiquing
and boutiquing, or enjoying fine food, you will not lack
for opportunities to indulge your senses here. We can
assure you, your next visit will not be your last. We're Open All Year! |
