ur Lodge is now a unique inn which hosts guests year round to enjoy the areas multitude of recreational and scenic opportunities.
The Lodge's past is steeped with the history of the area.
The
Lodge and our central location in the historic district provides easy access
to Frisco's finest dining, shopping, and nightlife. Everything is
an easy stroll down Main Street.
The
Lodge innkeepers, who live on-site, are long time Summit County residents
with a special flair for accommodating guests and providing local insights.
Our staff are expert alpine and nordic skiers and snowboarders. We can
give you advice on local attractions, info on hidden or little known areas
and trails at each resort, suggestions on how to avoid lift congestion,
and local tips about the region.
Each
morning, guests awaken to our delicious buffet breakfast including: Belgian
waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, baked beans, hot and cold
cereal, fresh fruit, fresh bread, pastries, toast, coffee, orange juice,
and tea. As you savor breakfast, please enjoy yourself around the
fire, with the morning paper, or with friends and guests from around the
world.
Each
afternoon after the day's skiing or riding, a day relaxing or shopping,
or a myriad of other possibilities, guests return to the Lodge to enjoy
our soup bar which includes our soup du jour, homemade bread, cheese and
crackers, hot cider, tea, coffee and hot cocoa in high season.
As
the day is waning, relax in our outdoor hot tub overlooking our courtyard.
Visit with new-found friends under the stars or the gently falling snow.

Choose
between eight types of accommodations:
The
main lodge features our eight distinctive rooms (each are unique)
including two rooms with private bath (en-suite) and six rooms (three deluxe
and three classic) which share 3 1/2 baths on the hall. Our lodge rooms
can accommodate one, two, three, or four people privately with an 1800's
antique ambience. Upstairs our observation deck is at the end of
the hall with it's outstanding views to the north and northwest of Buffalo
Mountain and the Eagles Nest Wilderness. Downstairs, guests are welcome
and encouraged to use our living room to sit by the fire, read, watch TV,
relax, converse with new or old acquaintences, or use our complimentary
internet workstation.
Our
Victorian Deluxe En-Suite rooms feature their own luxurious bath as well
as the ambience of their location inside of our historic lodge. Their unique
accoutrements will leave you with special memories long after your departure.
They are appointed with a Victorian motif and furnished with antiques to
make your stay memorable. One room is ideal for a family with a double
and two single beds and the other is ideal for a couple with its picture
window overlooking the Wilderness area to the northwest. VCR/Cable TV and
phone.
Our
Victorian deluxe shared bath lodge rooms are appointed with an impecable
Victorian flair and an unprecedented touch of elegance. They are
decorated with antiques to reflect the turn of the century ambience which
was common in our mountainous region. They each feature a VCR/cable
TV and phone. All have access to our living room to socialize as well.
Our
Victorian classic lodge rooms are decoratedwith an 1880's Victorian style
to reflect the ambience that the local miner's who frequented the lodge
experienced. They are also decorated with antiques. They each feature a
VCR/cable TV and phone.
Our
Victorian deluxe lodge two bedroom units feature the choice
of either private or shared bath. Both offer a queen bed in the master
bedroom. The suite with private bath has a double and single bed
in the adjacent bedroom to accomodate five persons. The suite with shared
bath has a wash basin in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the adjacent
room to accomodate four persons. 2 VCR/cable TV's are in each suite
and they feature a private phone. These suites are ideal for the traveling
family that would like to enjoy the lodge and for those that require a
little extra room while enjoying the atmosphere of our historic main lodge.
Up to four or five guests can be accommodated in our lodge suites.
Our
ensuite building features three types of rooms with private bath.
They have a scenic view to the north overlooking the Eagles Nest Wilderness
Area. The majestic Buffalo Mountain dominates the view.
You
may choose a room with standard, queen deluxe, or king deluxe appointments:
Our
Standard Ensuite rooms can accommodate one to four guests. These
rooms have a mini-kitchen (sink, refrigerator, and microwave), cable VCR/TV,
telephone, and an outside entrance. These rooms are decorated in
an elegant Victorian style with antiques which reflect our Lodge's past
heritage.
Our
Queen Deluxe rooms which can accomodate one or two guests feature two picture
windows overlooking our fabulous surroundings. They feature atique furnishings
in our Victorian style. These rooms have a mini-kitchen (sink, refrigerator,
and microwave), cable TV with VCR.
Or,
choose a King Deluxe Room which sleeps one or two persons. Our deluxe
rooms with their antique furnishings with a Victorian flair and are uniquely
luxurious. These rooms have a mini-kitchen (sink, refrigerator, and
microwave), cable TV with VCR, and they feature an elegant jacuzzi tub
for your enjoyment!
Or,
choose a two-room suite which can sleep up to six with mini-kitchen.
The master bedroom features a king bed with jacuzzi tub and the adjacent
room features two double beds. Each room in the suite has a private
bath, phone, and VCR cable TV. Up to six guests can enjoy these suites.
Finally,
we offer our cottage located immediately north of our en-suite building.
This cottage features one full bedroom plus a studio area. It can
comfortably sleep four or five with it's full kitchen, dining room, living
room, and bedroom. There is a full bath located off the master bedroom.
It has a direct phone and cable TV with VCR. Of course breakfast is included
and the hot tub is available for all our cottage guests.
All
our guests are invited to use our lodge living room to enjoy the unique
ambience that this special room provides.
All
of our rooms have phones with modem compatible jacks.
We
have a library of movies for your use during your visit to enjoy on your
VCR in your room.
All
our guests are welcome to use our complimentary high speed internet workstation!
We
encourage all our guests to use our ski and snowboard tuning room to put
the final touches on your winter sports equipment for the upcoming day.
Sports equipment should be stored in this room.
We
provide parking for all of our guests onsite.
We
work with Pioneer Sports located here in Frisco to offer discounted equipment
rentals.
Come
and enjoy Frisco and Summit County. There are incomparable dining opportunities,
unsurpassed shopping, and nightlife in abundance. Frisco is centrally
located to all the Summit County and Vail resorts. Each resort is easily
accessible via I-70, Highway 9 or US 6.
No
resort is more than 30 minutes and Copper Mountain and Breckenridge are
only 10 minutes away!
The
Frisco Nordic Center is one mile away with a fantastic trail network for
your enjoyment.
The
free shuttle bus stop is one block away serving all of Summit County.
