| Located 250 km from Paris and 30 minutes by road from Le Mans we are open year round. The time from Paris to Le Mans on the TGV is limited to 55 minutes. There are three rooms with complete baths and a living room with a fireplace and a fully equiped kitchenette including dishwasher and a clothes washer. The rooms come with a continental breakfast. We rent by the day or week.
We will furnish picnics upon request and can arrange horseback riding, boat rentals and trips down the Sarthe river, bike rentals and so forth. The boat rentals are an excellent way to see the countryside and castles and do not require any kind of license.
It is our custom to invite our guests for dinner their first night with us at our table d'Hotes. The Tertre is a very private secluded site and the only buildings on 40 acres of woods and farmland date from the 12th to the 16th century. We are located no more than 2 hours driving time from any of the major castles (Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceaux, etc.) and 10 miles from the Loire vineyards.
