Ashton's Bed & Breakfast, located in the charming Esplanade Historic District, a few short blocks from the French Quarter, City Park, and the Fair Grounds, offers Southern hospitality from a bygone era.

This center-hall Creole Greek revival mansion was completed in 1861. As you enter through the arched wrought-iron gate, you are surrounded by lush greenery, and welcomed onto the large front veranda. Inside the main house, fifteen foot ceilings, key doorways, spacious rooms, and fine furnishings tell you this is no ordinary house.

You can enjoy relaxing in the beautiful parlor, with its original carved marble mantel and magnificent chandelier; or wander the gardens and discover the majestic ancient oak tree that dominates the rear yard.
