On the glistening southwest facing shore of Eggemoggin Reach is nestled Oakland House Seaside Resort. Vacationing Rusticators made this their favorite vacation destination before the turn of the century. As its popularity grew, 15 vacation cottages were gradually added. They have been renovated with sophisticated detailing yet oozing with the charm of their rustic origins. You?l love them! They accommodate 1-9 people. Shore Oaks Seaside Inn is a classic 1907 Arts and Crafts bungalow...with three floors of amazing antiques and authentic d?r. Fully renovated, now with synthetic down comforters and pillows, beautiful linens, jewel-like cut glass lamps, real antiques, and plenty of comfortable seating it is the most romantic inn on the coast of Maine. Breakfast is served every morning. The Rusticator Restaurant seats up to 80. With its four dining rooms there is space for families with children to dine together and adults to dine leisurely in a dining room secluded away from the activities of family dining.
