Elegant 1774 Colonial home with cottages on 105-acre working organic farm. The Inn at Valley Farms has three large beautifully appointed guest rooms with king or queen four-poster beds, private baths, a/c, fresh flowers, and award winning handmade Burdick Chocolates at bedside. A multi-course homemade gourmet breakfast is served each morning using our own fresh eggs and organic produce. Rooms in the inn are suitable for guests over 12 years of age.
Plenty of common areas are available in the house for guests to socialize or relax in including a plant-filled sunroom with views overlooking the farm and gardens, a library with working fireplace and stocked with numerous books on local and regional history, a comfortable living room with views of the terraced gardens, a formal dining room with raised hearth, and a game room with all the perennial favorites.
Our three bedroom self-sufficient cottages are complete with full kitchen, living/dining room, private entrance, satellite TV, and room to sleep six - perfect for family vacations, small group getaways, or extended stays. Children of all ages are welcome in the cottages.
Our newest lodging choice is our vacation farmhouse, Sunnyside. A full house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, farmer's porch, rocking chairs, large open kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Satellite TV, complimentary wireless internet. Tranquil, clean space for a true getaway.
Guests are encouraged to share in the harvest from our organic gardens and pick their own bouquet of fresh flowers or visit our cashmere goats, chickens, cows, pigs, barn cats and other animals that make our farm their home.
We're located in Walpole, New Hampshire, said to be one of the most picturesque towns in all of New England complete with rows of white historic homes and churches, its own challenging 9-hole golf course, and Sunday concerts on the common. Nestled amongst some of the greenest rolling hills of the Connecticut River Valley, bordered by a 500-acre orchard, and just minutes to Keene, Brattleboro or Interstate 91, the Inn at Valley Farms is a special place in an ideal location to plan your next family or romantic getaway.
