The casual atmosphere of the Austing Haus, snuggled into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and surrounded by national forest, welcomes guests from all over the world. You will naturally feel the warmth and friendliness of our quiet mountain inn the minute you arrive at our door.

The Austing Haus is the largest and tallest timber frame building in the United States. The beams are exposed inside and out, presenting the Austing Haus' authentic mountain chalet architecture and character.

The Austing Haus is only one and a half miles from Taos Ski Valley and eighteen miles from the town of Taos. Our location offers easy access to your favorite activities any time of the year.

Our Rates: Our daily rates are between $79 and $210, and are based on Double Occupancy. There is an additional person charge of $20 per person. Breakfast is included in room rate.
