Comprised of two lovingly restored historic homes, The Inn offers gracious accommodations, fine dining at Gabriel's Restaurant (winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence), and exceptional shopping at Gabriel's Gifts. The original inn building, The Jacob Schoch House, was built in 1906 as a summer home for a wealthy Philadelphian. The Samuel Aurand was built in 1838 as a public house and tavern. John grew up in The Samuel Aurand where his parents had a corner grocery store. Over the last decade, The Inn has blossomed into one of Pennsylvania's truly outstanding restaurants and country inns.
