Slattery House is a landmark of Shreveport located in the Highland Historic District. The history of the white turn of the century house reaches back almost 100 years. It was built in 1903 by Attorney J.B. Slattery and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Victorian home features wrap-around porch, library, parlor, formal dining room, and four spacious guest rooms each with private baths.It is situated on over an acre of land including private swimming pool, gardens and deck. Each room is furnished with period antiques, queen size beds, cable TV, private phones, imported toiletries, and fax and copier for our corporate guests. Fro the perfect honeymoon, a bridal suite is available complete with Jacuzzi and honeymoon package. Guests can start their day with coffee, juice and morning paper just outside their room, then head downstairs for a full country breakfast of homemade breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and regional jams and jellies such as mayhaw and muscadine.
