Tucked away in a quiet corner of Nantucket's Historic downtown, Sherburne Inn dates back to 1835 when it was built as headquarters for the Atlantic Silk Company. By 1872, the elegant building at 10 Gay Street was converted to a comfortable guest house. The Inn houses eight guest bedrooms, all with king or queen-size beds, private baths,central air conditioning, and telephones. We encourage you to use the Inn's two comfortably appointed fireplaced parlors for reading, watching television, visiting or just relaxing. Each morning we serve a delicious homebaked continental breakfast, either by fireside or in our delightful, flower-filled garden.
