Our secluded cottages were once the milkhouse and henhouse for the farm and feature a king bed, whirlpool or spa tub and shower, living room with satellite TV and DVD, gas-fired fireplace, dining area and kitchen.
The main house has 5 elegantly appointed guest rooms with canopy or sleigh beds and private baths, all with fireplaces. Guests enjoy the library with its dark paneled bookshelves and fireplace or the light and airy Victorian parlor with woodburning fireplace for those cozy evenings or enjoy the sunlight streaming through the lace curtains before breakfast. Breakfast is an event in the gracious dining room with candlelight and soft music. In summer the broad side porch is a popular gathering place.
The landmark Gothic barn was assembled by architect Cliton G. Smith in 1888 from four different barns located on the property. It is an antique post and beam style, over 15,000 square feet in all, with over 5,000 square feet available for your wedding or event. The fully restored 1939 Cadillac limousine is also available for weddings, but is most popular with many of our guests for our romantic weekend package, which includes a chauffeur-driven ride to dinner in the limousine. |
