Thimbleberry Inn is a contemporary home on 375 feet of beautiful Lake Superior. View five of the Apostle Islands from our front yard. Enjoy our wood-burning fireplace in your room while you snuggle beneath an exquisite handmade quilt depicting the scene of the view from your bedroom. Awake to freshly brewed gourmet coffee and homemade muffins delivered to your room in a Longaberger basket 1/2 hour prior to a full gourmet breakfast. Breakfast is served on the spacious deck or in the dining room overlooking the islands. One of our breakfasts on the deck was featured on the cover of Minnesota Monthly magazine. You can walk among the trees on our 40 acres, along the lake or just relax in your own private love seat. Enjoy the restful sound of the waves lapping against the shoreline. Bring your fishing pole and try a little lake trout fishing from our private dock. You may also be fortunate enough to see one of the serveral eagles that soar along our lakeshore. In winter enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and exploring the ice formations in the sea caves. In the summer join us on Sandpiper, our 35-foot Classic Wooden Ketch!
