Penny Farthing Inn is a small, totally restored 1912 Heritage B&B with gleaming wood paneling, original stained glass, wood floors, area rugs, antiques and richly coloured bright rooms, some with porches and gas fireplaces, overlooking the secluded English garden. Here you can curl up, with that good book you've been meaning to read all year long, on the comfortable furniture, in front of the flickering fire with a cat snuggled beside you OR you can wake up to the smell of freshly baked criossants and then join the other guests for a scrumptious full breakfast served on the brick patio in the garden before spending your day visiting the many tourist and local attractions just minutes away from this very centrally located B&B. In the evening you can walk 5-10 minutes to one of the dozens of local enthnic , vegetarian or gourmet restaurants and cafes in this safe treelined neighbourhood or you may want to walk to the beach, 6 blocks away to watch the gorgeous sunset or to Granville Island stopping at all the interesting bookshops and stores on 4th Avenue along the way.
