An historic, elegant and friendly Inn, set in English Gardens. Honeysuckle Hll provides gourmet breakfasts and many all-inclusive luxury amenities, wonderful location near the sea, fine restaurants and shops.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, circa 1810, this enchanting Cape Cod seaside country inn offers comfortably elegant rooms and graciously served breakfasts. Built in the Queen Anne style by the Goodspeed and Fish families, the rambling, grey-shingled Inn is surrounded by lush, green lawns and colorful English gardens. The five sparkling rooms are furnished in antiques and white wicker, along with featherbeds and Battenburg lace. The baths are outfitted in marble and brass and feature big fluffy towels, terry robes and English toiletries. A full breakfast is included in the room rates and is served in the sunny dining room with antique American and English silver. The menu changes daily and offers such gourmet treats as Eggs Benedict, Honeysuckle Eggs, Belgian Waffles and Fruit Filled Crepes. Early coffee with freshly baked muffins and coffee cake, along with the morning newspaper, is available on the wicker-filled screened porch where guests gather before breakfast to enjoy gentle morning conversation. All in all, the Honeysuckle Hill Bed & Breakfast and the surrounding village of West Barnstable on Cape Cod retain the genteel country charm of yesteryear.
