Sugar Tree, Virginia's Mountain Inn, is a country retreat nestled into a mountainside less than a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Here guests find romantic seclusion in rustically elegant surroundings. Each spacious room or suite offers a private woodburning fireplace and beautiful, comfortable furnishings. Some accommodations pamper you further, with VCR's, whirlpools, air conditioning and ceiling fans. There are forty-mile views from the front porch rockers, with spectacular sunsets and busy hummingbirds. In addition to a full mountain breakfast, diners can enjoy delicious, candlelit dinners Friday & Saturdays. Guests can hike Sugar Tree trails, explore historic Virginia, shop or simply relax. Here spring wildflowers sprout right outside our glass-walled dining room. Summer brings brilliant days with cool mountain nights. And fall dazzles with the changing colors in our own hardwood forest.
