This inviting circa 1810 Federal-style home remains much as it did in the 19th century, including the original 12-over-12 windows and a beehive oven. The home's historic flavor has been diligently preserved, and the original five fireplaces, handsome wide pine floors, restored moldings and exposed beams add to the warm and cozy interior. Guest rooms feature warm quilts, comfortable beds, air conditioning and ensuite baths. A special guest room on the firdt floor is fully handicapped accessible. Added in 2006 are two new rooms in the house and two luxurious suites which were added to the back. These great two level suites feature king beds, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and other amenities. They are wonderful for a romantic getaway, or for up to five people with the additional sleeping facilities in the loft area. A full and hearty breakfast is included every day, and features such specialties as Blueberry French Toast or Sausage and Brie Casserole. Situated in Camden, the Captain Swift Inn is the perfect place on the Mid-Coast from which to explore all Maine has to offer, from one central location.

Our daily rates are between $109 and $245, and are based on SIngle or Double Occupancy. There is an additional person charge of $30 per person. Breakfast is included in room rate.

Deposit: A deposit equal to one night's rate is required for a one- or two-night stay. A deposit of 50% is required for longer stays. .
