Burlington's Willis Graves Bed and
Breakfast Inn is a fine 1830's federal brick
structure on the National Register of Historic
Places. Historic Burlington, KY (founded 1799)
is the county seat of Boone County and is part
of the greater Cincinatti, Ohio area.Willis
Graves was the Boone County Clerk in the
1810's and 1820's. He constructed the house
sometime in the early 1830's. It is a simple but
elegant home with such features as flemish
bond brickwork and federal style
mantels. Covered with paint and aluminum
siding, its history was hidden for years.
Extensive restoration started in December
1991 and the B&B opened in August
1995. We now offer to you, our special
guests, a truly relaxing getaway in the
Kentucky hospitality tradition--not unlike that
offered in the time of Henry Clay. Enjoy not
only our history and hospitality but scenic
grounds and gardens. Fish, play horseshoes,
and take a stroll to unique, local shops. Come
for that old time feeling... relaxed, peaceful,
happy!
