| The Inn at the Shore is located within sight of the Atlantic Ocean and Belmar's wide beautiful beaches and boardwalk, and steps away from serene Silver Lake, home of the first flock of swans bred in America. A charming Victorian home built Circa 1880, the Inn has been owned by Rosemary and Tom Volker since 1994. The Inn is cheerfully decorated with Victorian antiques (and not-so-antiques), floral fabrics and wall-coverings, ruffled curtains and quilts, teddy bears and angels! Guests love relaxing in our antique rocking chairs and gliders on our nostalgic wraparound porch drifting back to the seashore of yesteryear or lounging in the guest living room with entertainment center and fieldstone fireplace, a cozy area to watch a video from our collection, or listen to soothing music while reading a novel from our library. Rosemary and I will do our best to make your home away from home a peaceful and refreshing experience.We look forward to your visit!
