Rated 5.0: This is September 22, 2002, about 11am in the morning. Jim (my now husband) and I left Gualala at 10:30 am on friday the 20th. Our plans were to stop somewhere between there and here, spend the night and drive into town. However, we could not find a romantic, comfortable lodging, thus we arrived at your door. It seems fate drove us on to settle in your very beautiful inn. I feel like I have been floating on air since. Your hospitality and loving care to this house could not have been more warmly inviting. Our special reason for being in Ferndale...It was yesterday, Chris married us two passionately in love old-timers. And you, Peter, were there to add the special touches to our ceremony. All the memories - from the smallest and most considerate arrangements you both made, to the carriage ride, the dinner, the evening tea and all else will remain as the most special, loving thoughts, FOREVER. We, Jim & I wish you both happiness, love and success. Oh, and breakfast was deliciously wonderful. Warmest and lasting thoughts, Christine & Jim
