| 1777 Cornell Inn Current rating:
(5.0 out of 5.0)

| Rated 5.0: I have stayed at the Cornell Inn numerous times. Doug, Billie and Lyn have made me feel like family.I have stayed in several rooms at the Inn and have never been disappointed. The breakfasts are scrumptious. The little tavern in warm and cozy and I have found that the staff will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I will continue to return to this little gem in the Berkshires. |

| Rated 5.0: We spent a week at the Cornell Inn in 2003 during the Tanglewood Summer music Festival and enjoyed the Inn so much that we are returning in 2004. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were considerably more than we expected, and we appreciated the conviviality and relatively low prices of the private bar. The staff was pleasant and helpful in every respect. Lynn is a gem! |

| Rated 5.0: Since our first chance stay at Cornell Inn, we have made this an annual+ event. The area is beautiful and the Inn is magnificent. The surroundings at the Inn are warm and comfortable, yet with the amenities expected of such a fine institution. There is even an intimate Pub just off the "living room" for after hours banter and the best drinks ever. All personnel are extremely friendly and knowlegeable, with great suggestions for activities and restaurants, with accurate descriptions offered. The entire surroundoing area is full of history, antiques, culture and crafts, and this is the ideal accomodation from which to enjoy it. We felt like family after just a short time and would think of going nowhere else in the region!

| Rated 5.0: We have just returned from our 2nd visit to the Cornell Inn (and booked the 3rd while we were there). It is absoutely superb! The rooms provide every comfort from great matresses to super fluffy towels. They are all decorated beautifully as are the public areas. There is a small tavern which is a perfect spot to gather after dinner or late in the day. The selection of unusual beers was definitely worth exploring. The innkeepers and staff are personable and helpful in every way. The place is immaculate - we even saw the gardener washing the fountain in the car park garden! Breakfast is wonderful with a wide choice of items including fresh fruit, home made coffee cake and eggs. Room rates are very reasonable - you'll love it.

| Rated 5.0: We were introduced to the Cornell INN by a friend. Our experience the two times we have been guests there has been exceptional. The staff was helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and well appointed. They provided an exceptional breakfast with each of our stays and the Pub was well stocked and nothing was to much trouble to make. The recommendations for places to dine were excellent. We found it to be a warm and cozy atmosphere and would recommend it without reservation. |

| Rated 5.0: My husband and I have been vacationing in the Berkshires for the last eight years and staying at The Cornell Inn. Would we consider staying anywhere else? Absolutely not.
It is the sense of home and comfort factor that keeps us coming back. I refer to comfort factor in the physical and emotional sense.
Physically speaking, the Inn is splendidly decorated and each room is unique. The astutely selected antiques, wallpaper and rugs just add to the sense of feeling at home while being away. Immaculately clean, the rooms provide the perfect setting for rest and relaxation. You can tell that a lot of thought went into each room's ambiance.
As for the emotional factor, the owners and manager - Doug, Billie and Lyn - are caring, concerned individuals who work arduously to maintain the highest standards for the Inn and go out of their way to respect the diversity of their guests while always making it a priority to accomodate their needs. They are also very knowledgeable about local restaurants and attractions, including directions.
One of the highlights of The Inn is waking up and going to breakfast. The homemade breakfasts are the BEST we have ever had. From homemade exotic scrambled eggs to muffins to baked apples, it is a treat to sit down to breakfast. Our only criticism is that Billie will not share any of her secret recipes with us! Perhaps she will write a cookbook some day.
Staying at The Cornell Inn allows you to "kick off your heals," be yourself and find a few days of respite from life's distractions. If you like to laugh, Lyn has that department covered!

| Rated 5.0: My association with the Cornell Inn in Lenox, MA began at the beginning of the 21st Century.
Why have I returned to the Cornell Inn so many times to enjoy its special ambience? The owners and their staff are most gracious and attentive to the needs of the guests; the location in the Berkshires is unequalled for the enjoyment of the four seasons and there is a certain tranquility not found in any hotel or most B & B's.
The Cornell Inn stands above any B&B I ever have frequented in this country and other continents. It is a gem amongst all the B& B's in the Northeast!
