| Old Brick Inn Current rating:
(4.2 out of 5.0)
|
 |
| Rated 3.5: Room was very nice and location was ideal for St Michaels. Furnishing were top notch.
However...
Drawback was value.
For $300+/night I frankly expected more.
Breakfast was good, but portions small and dinning area confined. Toaster: do it yourself in next room.
Pool- Website advertises pool and hottub with a picture. But what we thought was a picture of an 8 ft diameter in ground hottub- turned out to be THE pool. Hot tub was standard box tub.
Shared coffee maker in hallway of house vice in each room.
Only ice available was in main house.
Bottom line- value was lacking

| Rated 5.0: We don't usually write reviews, but everything about our stay at the Old Brick Inn was so positive that a review -- a rave review -- seems in order. But it won't be a long and detailed review, because, as we said above, EVERYTHING was positive. So we don't have to put items on a scale.
Our room: lovely, comfortable, well-appointed. The bed was one of the best sleeps we've ever had.
Breakfast was simple food done well. (Do not leave the Inn without trying Bill's pancakes!)
Our hosts, Robert and Bryn, were attentive and charming.
The Inn itself, with the courtyard and common rooms, is elegant, yet cheerful and comfortable.
We'll be back. |
