Rated 5.0: We just returned from our 4 night stay at the Folkestone Inn in Bryson City and it was perfect from start to finish. The inn is beautiful and quite charming. It's obvious they spend many hours maintaining the grounds and ensuring that their guests have every added touch available. The location is breathtaking and it is convenient to all of the local attractions. We hiked to 3 gorgeous waterfalls, went tubing at Deep Creek, took a white water rafting trip down the Nantahala and rode on horseback up a mountain overlooking Fontana Lake. All of this was within minutes from the Inn. The breakfast served each morning was divinely delicious!! There are wonderful restaurants in the area to dine as well. Please take a few days to visit this Inn and its surroundings...you will be thrilled with your choice!
