Our stay with you was among the highlights of our visit to the Southwest. . .proving that roads off the beaten track often lead to wonderful results! Your hospitality was so genuine and refreshing, we extended our stay and look forward to another someday. I keep my Sundance Bear Lodge mug on the kitchen counter as a daily reminder of your hospitality, our adventures in Mesa Verde and a pleasant evening in Durango at your suggestion. We also enjoyed meeting other guests whose travels intersected with ours, further broadening our horizons (and waistlines at breakfast - delicious!). You are such awesome B & B hosts, our 16 year old son commented that he hopes you AND Morris are still there when he takes his family on their trip to the 4 Corners region, whenever that may be! Of course I definitely will refer you at every opportunity! If you need a slogan, I would suggest, "Exceeding expectations every step of the way" . . .because it's so true! Rated 5.0: Susan and Bob Scott truly opened their home to us and made us feel like family. We never really felt like guests. The surroundings were magnificent and we were fed more food for breakfast than we ever normally eat!

Rated 5.0: Mesa Verde.. train to Silverton.. white water raft trip in Durango.. Sundance Bear was our base camp for these excursions. However, it was much more than that. The 80 acres provided ample opportunity for exploring and space for pitching horse shoes, throwing a ball or stick with Chester, reading, or just watching the sun set. Stephen did not miss a single night in the hot tub.

Rated 5.0: We still reminisce about the spectacular summer thunderstorm and the evening campfire, complete with marshmallows. Sundance Bear was the best place we stayed on our entire trip, which ranged from a luxury hotel in Denver to a dude ranch in Moab. Nothing beats down-home comfort and hospitality, which Sundance Bear provides in ab(S)undance.

Rated 5.0: They have thought of everything, what a beautiful facility and wonderful hosts. Not that we needed it, but they can even board horses. I've stayed at quite a few B&Bs, but none this fantastic. We're already planning our next visit. (Cell phone coverage and wi-fi available at their facility too.)
