| Rated 4.0: GREAT HOSTS:
Sarah and Jeff are friendly hosts who are very willing to support their guests' needs. Sarah serves a delicious, full hot breakfast; examples included apple pancakes, a very fluffy French toast, and my husband's favorite, shoo-fly cake. All meals included fruit, beverages, and meat (cured in the area).
INTERESTING HOME:
Bella Vista has a casual appeal with a country-styled decor. The only downsides to this home was the noise. Although it is located in a quiet neighborhood, we were shocked awake one night by an old-fashioned fire siren used to call the local volunteer firemen. Also, the whole house has attractive wooden floors and stairs, so we could hear people talking on the ground floor from our spacious room on the 3rd floor. (Naturally we were afraid that guests beneath us may be bothered by the noise we made!)
All in all, we were pleased and would definitely consider staying here again. It was very convenient for our jaunts to Akron, Ephrata, Strasburg and Intercourse, PA.
NOTE: Bella Vista DOES have queen- and king-sized beds. They only allow children OVER 10 years of age. |
