| Southwest Inn at Sedona (Voted "Sedona's Best") Current rating:
(5.0 out of 5.0)

| Rated 5.0: We recently stayed at Southwest and our stay was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly and the place is super quiet. The rooms were very clean and neat. It also includes a continental type breakfast with a lot of variety. I would highly recommend this hotel. You couldn't find a nicer small scale hotel such as this one in Sedona. |

| Rated 5.0: Great hotel and staff. Rooms like new and very clean. Half the price of other hotels in area. Staff was awesome. Had day and a half for a quick visit and they lined every thing up including sunset tour and dinner reservations and all were more than i could have ever asked for. I would say that was a 5 star property in more ways than one. |

| Rated 5.0: This was my first trip to Sedona with my 17 year old nephew, and we booked the King Suite on the second level with incredible views of the red rocks. I was simply amazed at the great value we got for the price of the suite.
I could open the balcony doors in my bedroom, and lie in bed looking at the stunning views out the balcony and also from the window. I was not prepared for how great the view would be -- the picture on the website does not do this place justice.
The rooms were the cleanest I have ever seen -- just immaculate. It looked brand new. Lovely southwestern decor, great fireplace in the sitting room which also had a comfortable sofabed. There is a small hallway (where the large bathroom is located) between the bedroom and sitting room, which provides extra privacy. Great shower, large bathroom with two vanities, lots of towels. The place was very quiet -- we never heard traffic or other guests.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, with a knowledgeable concierge who gave us lots of tips about where to go and also dining.
We loved the breakfast -- sitting next to the large windows you get more breathtaking views of the red rocks, which are quite close by. The waffles were delicious. I don't agree with any reviews that have complained that the batter is somehow not sanitary; everything was very clean and not contaminated in any way.
The only disappointment we had was unrelated to the Southwest Inn -- it was quite cold in December and even snowed, rained quite a bit.
I have checked out other places online, and can't see any that rival the Southwest Inn in terms of the views of the red rocks, cleanliness and affordable price. Overall, the Southwest Inn is a value like no other, and I am planning to take my sister and niece there when we visit Sedona this October.
