Rated 5.0: What a great place to stay! The rooms were clean and ample,the set-up was very welcoming and comfortable. Ron and Kathy were the best part of the stay. Anything you want to know about the area and the local wildlife is their expertise. we truly enjoyed our stay with them and plan to go back.

Rated 5.0: Kathy's Korner is easily the best place to stay in Hyder. The place is very clean and the hosts are very knowledgeable about the bears in the area as they are both rangers at Fish Creek. We'll be back.

Rated 5.0: Kathy and Ron were great. They basically give up their home when full (4 travelers). It was clean, quiet, and convenient. I'm looking forward to the next time I can bring my wife during the salmon season so we can watch some bears in the river. Very nice accommodations for somewhere as remote as Hyder, AK. and a welcome respite after days in a motorcycle seat. Thanks a bunch.

Rated 4.5: Ron and Kathy were both very friendly. We got all the facilities we wanted and they helped us out finding the bears and the glacier. Perfect for us and the 3 boys.

Rated 5.0: Ron & Kathy were great hosts. The accomidations were just what we were looking for and when we needed to borrow a soldering gun to make a repair Ron went to a neighbor to borrow one for us. Very knowledgeable about the area and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Rated 1.5: small rome although others available, not clean. No cooked breakfast, just some cerials and coffee, unfriendly staff. Are they just in for the money. Visa was already 8 weeks prior to arrival (how is that possible?)

Rated 5.0: An extremely clean, comfy and respectable establishment. Ron and Kathy were wonderful hosts. Really enjoyed the conversation about life living in Hyder and not forgetting real maple syrup on our pancakes. We still dream of our time in Hyder and will happily stay there again.

Rated 4.0: Ron and Kathy are very hospitable and helpful with their knowledge of the area and the people. We will definately return for another stay. I espically like the use of the kitchen to prepare our meals. This saved us a lot of expense dining out every day.
