Le Tertre

Current rating: (3.6 out of 5.0)

Rated 4.5: My first ten days of this trip were spent rambling through the South of France which was nice but ,well you know the French. We arrived here 9 days ago and this trip has been made into something that we will cherish for many years to come. These people could not have been more accomodating. They have one of the best if not the best breakfast tray I've ever seen. Their table d'hotes is Classic French cooking in all its glory, and their wine cellar has been a pleasure to discover. If youy want to do the Loire river valley and all its castles this is definitely the place to start. As far as some of the comments I've seen here as to their prices being high is a lot of bull. The rapport between the quality of the B&B,the service, and the overall comfort is an honest one-Frankly i've seen more expensive places that didn't come within a country mile of what these people have built here. I will defenitely be back and I heartily recommend that you try them out.

Rated 4.5: Expensive; yes but what service and probably one of the cleanest b&b's we've seen in France.

Rated 3.0: Nice place to visit. The innkeepers are very helpful. However, this is not a 4 star place, more like a 2 star inn. Prices for the race weekend are high...220 Euros per nite, 7 nite minimum...too high.
