| The Nashua House Hotel Current rating:
(4.6 out of 5.0)
|
 |
| Rated 4.5: Situated right in the heart of Oak Bluffs, the recently refurbished Nashua House is clean, comfortable and affordable, with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The hotel, a stone throw from all you would require for an enjoyable visit to Martha’s Vineyard. I would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone visiting the island. |

| Rated 5.0: we have stayed at the Nashua House a number of times now and have been impressed with the consistently nice and helpful staff, the quality of the room and the great value of the hotel. We have stayed at other hotels on the island and payed two to three times more and had a much less satisfactory experience.Every room at the Nashua House is unique- each is charming and well decorated. It is really at the heart of things in town- a quick walk and you are at the ocean or dining at a fine restaurant or kicking back with a beer at the brewpub. I am only a little hesitant writing this as I fear word about the Nashua House will get out and we won't be able to get a room. |

| Rated 5.0: Don't be fooled by it's affordability - the Nashua House provided me with a thoroughly enjoyable, comfortable and homey place to stay, right in the heart of martha's vineyard. With the beach across the street, the public transportation hub nearby, and the gingerbready Oak Bluffs right outside your door, it's a great place to stay.
I liked it so much I bought gift certificates for my family for Christmas this year. Thanks to Caleb and Chris for providing us with such affordability and enjoyment on martha's vineyard - a tough combination to find these days! For the money, I think this is the best place to stay. I love the island, and the Nashua House allows me to be able to both afford and enjoy it. Needless to say, I'll be back again. |

| Rated 4.0: During my visit to Martha’s Vineyard in 2001 one of the best-kept secrets was the Nashua House. This old building was restored to its former glory and completely redecorated. Each room has its own individual style and you can have your choice between single and double. Just in case, some rooms can accommodate a roller bed as well - all at the most surprisingly affordable cost.
The Nashua House is situated in the middle of Oak Bluffs and is close to all amenities, some fine restaurants and all the activity provided by the town. Just steps away from the Nashua you will find one of the loveliest beaches in Oak Bluffs. It is also here that you will find your local ride back to the mainland with two ferries departing from the local ferry docks. To top all of this, you can go the local gym and afterwards quench your thirst at the neighbouring brewery.
Owner, Caleb Caldwell together with his very efficient manager, ensures that each and every guest settles in style and enjoy the best treatment I have encountered – by far.
Definitely highly recommended.
PS Do not forget to enquire about the Limo and Rolls tours of the Vineyard – stunning and very educational – as well as the most exciting Mexican cuisine. You will be pleasantly surprised.
