New Delhi Bed and Breakfast

Current rating: (5.0 out of 5.0)

Rated 5.0: Why stay at a hotel in Delhi when you can stay at this fabulous bed and breakfast where you are treated so well, you'll want Renu Dayal, your host, to open B&Bs throughout the world. For first-time India travelers, this is a must! And for returning travelers, the same applies. The house itself is well-appointed, with air-conditioning, an enchanting garden, big towels and comfortable beds with great sheets, and internet connectivity. But, the big plus is the host herself. If you need anything, a car and driver, train reservation, a fabric store, a shipping company, she'll find it for you. I can't imagine planning a trip to Delhi or anywhere in India without her. The only sad part is that she can't accompany you on your travels. And that eventually, one must travel on....

Rated 5.0: My husband and I had a most enjoyable stay at New Delhi Comfort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our hostess Renu Dayal was warm and gracious and provided us with valuable and accurate information on getting around with good local insight. Through her contacts we were able to book transportation and accommodations at some very interesting places that we might have missed. We gained convenience and better value than we would have on our own. It was comforting to be met at the airport at midnight by her driver and not have to plunge into the strange darkness after a long flight too. New Delhi Comfort is well located in a quiet area and her home is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was always a treat featuring Indian and western food. Don't share this gem of a place with too many - or we'll have to get in the back of the line!

Rated 5.0: Dear Renu, I genuinely regret that I have to leave your house so soon….. though my stay has been so brief I already feel as though this is a second home…. You are good company… and I have appreciated your friendliness and warmth so much, specially since visiting India again after all these years has been quite an emotional journey, making one feel, at times, quite vulnerable… I think, I shall miss our conversations under those rotating fans, having tea, when I'm back in Denmark and the days start getting shorter with the arrival of winter….. My best wishes to you Renu…. I hope you find that place in the mountains! Per Storgaard Date Posted: August 21, 2001

Rated 5.0: Thank you Renu for all the assistance that you have rendered. I really felt at home here surrounded by your warm hospitality. I've had a lovely stay here, not to mention a comfortable one at that. It was definitely one of my memorable stays here in India.. Take care and God Bless! Hope to see you in Singapore.
